In contrast to conventional cables, the solar module cable has a special two-layer insulation that protects the copper conductors from all kinds of environmental influences (rain, snow, UV radiation, temperature fluctuations).

The use of this solar PV cable prevents possible problems when operating solar modules. The cross-section of the cable should be chosen according to its length and the power of the solar modules in order to minimize losses.
